For the import and sale of cosmetics, it is necessary to obtain a state expert opinion on the hygienic conformity of products. For many forms, it is also recommended to receive a letter of opinion from the Analytical Expertise Center (AEC) of the Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan confirming that the product is not attributed to medicinal products.<\/span><\/p>\n The hygienic examination is carried out by the Republican Center of Hygiene and Epidemiology of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Documentation and samples must be submitted for a hygienic examination.<\/span><\/p>\n Instructions for use should be presented in Azerbaijani, and labeling may be presented in Russian, English, Azerbaijani or Turkish.<\/span><\/p>\n The procedure for obtaining all the necessary documents for import and placement on the market takes about 1-1.5 months.
