State registration is obligatory required prior to placing of the special food products with therapeutic and preventive properties at the market of Tajikistan. The competent authority for registration of special food products is the Agency for Standardization, Metrology, Certification and Trade Inspection of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.<\/span><\/p>\n The legal basis for the registration of dietary supplements is the Law \u201cOn Quality and Safety of Food Products\u201d dated March 25, 2011. The legal framework of Tajikistan does not provide for a separate law for the registration of dietary supplements, while they are included in the definition of food products: products in the natural or processed canned form used by humans as food, including baby food, dietary foods, bottled drinking water… food additives and dietary supplements.<\/span><\/p>\n For registration (certification), an Application, a package of documentation and samples of the finished product should be submitted. An expert evaluation of the documentation and toxicological studies of the samples are carried out during the registration procedure.<\/span><\/p>\n Dossier requirements vary depending on the composition of the dietary supplement.<\/span><\/p>\n Dossiers for registration are submitted in Russian or Tajik language.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n A Marketing Authorization (state registration certificate) for the special food product is issued for a period of 5 years.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Cratia provides professional services of state registration of dietary supplements in Tajikistan.
